Sulim Yamadaev

Sulím Bekmirzáevich Yamadáev, or more commonly Sulim Bekmirzaevich Yamadayev, (romanized from Сули́м Бекмирза́евич Ямада́ев) is a former Chechen warlord who defected with his men and joined up with the Russian armed forces to fight against rebels in Chechnya. During 2008 South Ossetia war he was a wanted man in Russia while he led the Vostok battalion in Georgia.
